Black seed (siah daneh) is a small angular black seed, not a pepper — the whole heap shows its true size and colour.

Smaller trials also point to better asthma control and lower rhinitis (a stuffy, irritated nose) scores with daily ground seed or oil. Using half to one teaspoon a day in food is safe for most adults. Concentrated oil at higher doses needs caution alongside medicines.

The Persian and Prophetic phrase 'a cure for every disease except death' is a devotional statement of blessing. It isn't a clinical claim.
